Hello,

I downloaded the IDE in version 2.2.1 and it installs without problem on my Win7 system. When I try to start the IDE I get the following error:

Unbenannt.PNG

What can I do?

Thanks in advance!

Uwe

Moving this to the WICED Smart Forum (originally posted to WICED Wi-Fi).

This looks like a problem many 64b Windows users experience when the x32 JRE/Java environment is not installed on their x64 instance of Windows.  Note that both the x32 and x64 JRE will live together on the same machine with no issues.

Got it to work?

I was caught up in other things. Sorry. I made it. It works great. The strange thing is the IDE finds the newly installed 32 bit version itself without any intervention from my side. Why did it not tell "I can't work with a 64 bit version!" in the first place?

Anyways, it works and I am happy. Thanks for the help!
