I have an application which calls for a PSoC4 BLE (part selection constrained by stock and budget) but in which we will not be using the BLE feature. It is also very space constrained.
Since we are not using the BLE feature, I'd like to leave the caps that are recommended for the VDDR pins off the board. However, I want to make sure that this won't cause any problems for the PSoC.
Can I leave the VDDR pins unpowered? If so, I presume I should simply tie them to ground.
If VDDR must be powered for some reason, can I leave the caps off since I'm not concerned about functionality?
Thanks,
-Ron

Hi Ron,
Yes. You can disconnect the VDDR supply if you are not using Radio in PSoC BLE. Please refer page number 95 of the PSoC 4 BLE Architecture TRM for the information related to power supply blocks.

Ganesh,
Thank you for your reply. What should be done with the GANT and ANT pins in the case that the radio is unused?
Thanks,
-Ron
