Could somebody help me.
I use cyusb_linux on Ubuntu. But I can't open the usb device. It prints an error "Error in opening device".

- Please mention what is the result when the lsusb command is used. Is the device being detected and mounted on the PC?
- Are you able to run the cyusb_linux without super user privileges?
EDIT:
- In case you have followed the steps on the cyusb_linux_user_guide.pdf file, you would need root permissions to run the cyusb_linux application.
- Any access to the hardware resources is generally performed with root user (sudo) privileges.

I find that if I use 'sudo' it works.
Could someone tell me the reason and tell how to change it?
