Please tell me about the difference between CY7C1041D-10ZSXI (90nm) and CY7C1041G-10ZSXI(65nm).
1) I assume that power consumption is different because the process has been shrank. How much power consumption difference is the there?
2) CY7C1041G-10ZSXI includes ECC. Do we need to case about this ECC when we replace CY7C1041D-10ZSXI (90nm) to CY7C1041G-10ZSXI(65nm)?
Thank you,
Shun Furusawa

Hi Furusawa san,
Power consumption of the devices CY7C1041D-10ZSXI and CY7C1041G-10ZSXI are given in respective datasheets under electrical characteristics. Please go through it and let us know if you need any clarifications.
I am not clear about your second query about ECC. Could you please clarify it?
Thanks and Regards,
Sudheesh

Hi Sudheesh san,
Thank you for your information.
According to datasheet, in 1041G, ECC encoder and ECC decoder is added to 1041D.
Do these additional functions affect any specifications?
Thank you,

Hello Furusawa-san,
The specification is completely compatible with the previous 1041D. You need not have to worry about the ECC when you replace CY7C1041D-10ZSXI (90nm) with CY7C1041G-10ZSXI(65nm).
Thanks,
Nada

Hi Nada-san,
Thank you very much for your answer.
But please let me double check about the power consumption.
Is power consumption completely same between CY7C1041D-10ZSXI (90nm) and CY7C1041G-10ZSXI(65nm)?
Thank you,Shun Furusawa
