Hi
Using PSoC Creator 4.2 schematic designer, there doesn't seem to be a way to connect the DieTemp output connection to a CapSense_ADC input connection, as the CapSense_ADC component doesn't expose any connections in the schematic designer.
It looks as if the CapSense_ADC inputs can only be connected to external pins and not to internal connections.
Therefore, should I connect the DieTemp output to an external pin and then to the CapSense_ADC input pin (possibly the same pin) or is there a better solution?
Thanks
Pete

Hello Pete,
DieTemp is designed to be used with the SAR ADC. Is there any specific reason for using CapSense_ADC?

Hi Rajiv
The aim was to find the smallest packaged PSoC available with both CapSense and DieTemp components.
So removing the dependency on using a dedicated ADC component was hopefully going to help achieve this goal.
After look at a range of devices however, it seems that if the device doesn't have a dedicated ADC component it also doesn't have a DieTemp component.
Thanks for your response
Pete

That is correct, Pete. DieTemp comes with the SAR ADC.
