Hello Reo_3581466,

There may be the possibility that counterfeiter's can duplicate the precise package marking, as identical to that in the photos you had previously provided.

As a matter of fact, in a separate case, a counterfeiter had duplicated the precise marking/labels and sold it to a customer.  Although,

the package marking/labels appeared authentic, it was later discovered that the package contained no die.  Therefore, it was an empty package, with no device inside the package, basically an empty shell.

This is one good example as to why Cypress extends no warranty or guarantee to any former Spansion/Cypress FLASH memory products purchased through third-party vendors / gray market / non-authorized distributors.

Best regards,

Albert

Hello Reo_3581466,

Please verify and confirm from where and whom (location and vendor) the Am29LV001BT-90JI were purchased.

There is no warranty or guarantee offered to any former Spansion/Cypress FLASH memory products

purchased through third-party vendors/non-authorized distributors.

Cypress awaits for your response.

Best regards,

The question is not about the warranty and return, and the marking can be such?
