I'm trying to make my own USB Type C 3.1 cable and I found the chip CYPD2703-9FNXIT on your site. I am looking at the reference schematic, but am unsure of where/how to output from the chip to cable. Any help?

Hi Bryan,
There no need firmware program for the chip. If you want to change any configuration table of the chip, you can configure it via EZ-PD configuration Utility.
Best Regards,

Hi Bryan,
All of Type-C cable is VCONN powered. The latest VCONN SPEC is 3.0V - 5.0V. And EMCA cable is communication with DFP with CC line.

Would I need to program the chip after it has been terminated to the PCB, or is there a method to program it as a standalone?
