Hi,
We are using USB FX3 controller CYUSB3035-BZXC in one our design.
We are planning to use S-Port on FX3 controller for microSD card interface. As per the hardware guidelines document (http://www.cypress.com/file/139936/download),
all the microSD interface signals should be length matched and the length should not exceed than 5 inches .
In our layout, we kept the length of all these signals between 4.22 – 4.25 inches. Please let us know if we shall keep the length of all these signals same with tolerance of +/-0.030 inches. Please let us know if the clock signal should also be kept of same length or not?
Thanks & Regards,
Sunny Watts

Hello Sunny Watts,
- For reliable operation of the system, it is recommended that the data, command and clock traces of the device are length-matched. So, it is ideal to have the same lengths for all these lines.
- The mentioned tolerance value on the length-matching is fine.
Best regards,
Srinath S
