Not able to install it on linux-64.
I'm sure I have enough free space , but it keep shows below dialog.
I have 8.4GB free space, but the dialog shows I have 879BM?
BTW, what is "BM"??
ps. I have no problem to install older SDKs on the same PC, no idea why it does not work with sdk-6.2.

I guess the install does not correctly get the free space.
I try increase the free space to 11GB and try again.
It shows similar dialog as below, with strange information.
1. It shows selected location has 1135 BM (I actually have 11GB free space)
2. It shows need at least 5000MB of free space?? (why wiced sdk needs 5GB space?)

My guess:
1. I have 11352172 (11GB) free space
Installer shows 1135BM, I think it should be 11350. (Free space calculation is wrong)
2. It shows need at least 5000MB of free space, I think it should only need 500MB free space.

The substr usage in diskspace.sh is *wrong* which causes wrong calculation of the available space.

Hello,
Is this problem fixed now? Can someone from wiced shed some light onto this issue?

No, it needs someone from cypress to fix it.
I just point out the problem.

thanks
Btw it's kind of sad to see so many people getting frustrated for the installation. I hope future releases will be better tested.

The team has been able to reproduce the issue internally. Hopefully we can get this fixed in a subsequent release.

There is no subsequent release for the past 4 months.
So I'm not surprised people still reported the same issue.

The team has been heads down working on the upcoming release of ModusToolbox.
If you post the install log here, I can have someone on the team take a look.
The location of the install is indicated here: Re: Not able to install sdk-6.2 on Linux64 (con't)

Your reply seems to tell a new release is coming soon.
However, there is no release even after waiting for 3 weeks.
There are so many issues reported against the sdk-6.2.1,
I believe many people are waiting for next release.

There is no new sdk release so far so of course the installation issue is still there.
