F-RAM: differences between FM24CL64B-GA and CY15B064J-SXE

Dear Support,

We are using the following F-RAMs in our design: FM24CL64B-GA and CY15B064J-SXE

I would like to have an answer for the following questions:

  1. 1)    Are Both parts manufactured on the same line?
  2. 2)    Is the processing of both parts identical, especially the critical parameters of rate of oxide growth, temperature of the oxide growing process and final oxide thickness?
  3. 3)    Are The two parts similar in function and identical in technology including the same mask design, identical feature size, deposition, and doping?
  4. 4)    Has the same foundry produced both wafers?

Q1) Are Both parts manufactured on the same line?

A1) : Since FM24CL-64B-GA had EOLed on April 03, 2018, I guess this FRAM had not manufactured any more. So the answer is "No". 

Q2) Is the processing of both parts identical, especially the critical parameters of rate of oxide growth, temperature of the oxide growing process and final oxide thickness?

A2) Yes, it is. Because CY15B064J-SXE is a replacement part of FM24CL-64B-GA.

Q3) Are The two parts similar in function and identical in technology including the same mask design, identical feature size, deposition, and doping?

A3) Yes, it is. Because CY15B064J-SXE is a replacement part of FM24CL-64B-GA. 

Q4) Has the same foundry produced both wafers?

A4) Yes, it is.
