Hello
What part does “Proximity loop size” of below figure(MBR3 desing guide figure 4-9) refer to?
Is it overall length of proximity sensor?(“A” of below figure, Red)
Or is it length of only one side?(“B” of below figure, Blue)
Best Regards.

Dear Matsubara san,
This kind of sensor has irregular distance for proximity that it should be measured with prototype sensor.
It can be different proximity distance where you measured.
I cannot guide accurate distance.
For rectangular sensor shape, proximity distance is measured with center position of sensor.
Thanks,
Brandon

Hi,
Normally, size of loop type proximity is diagonal length.
So, "C" below figure means proximity loop size.
For details, please refer the AN92239 Section 6.2.
Thanks,
Brandon

Dear Brandon-san
Thank you for your answer.
If proximity loop is below figure(orange line), which distance is "proximity loop size"?
Is it "A"? Or is it "B"?
Best Regards.
