Hello, I have a question on incorrect reading of the temperature sensor used in MB39C811 (Energy Harvesting Starter Kit). It shows -46C with 0% relative humidity regardless of the outside temperature. Does anyone know which part went wrong??

Hello Kato-san,
Can you explain how you check the output of temperature and humidity sensor?
Thanks,
Yuva.

Hi Yuva,
Thank you very much for your reply !
I tested the temperature under desk lamp at room temperature (~28C) and it
was reading -46C.
When I do not allow the light to reach the solar cell, the reading stops.
(So I assume communication is working properly)
Next, I took them to fridge to see if the temperature increases or
decreases. But it was still reading -46C.
I would really appreciate your help.
Best Regards,
Keiko

Hi Keiko-san,
How do you observe the changes on the temperature and humidity sensor, do you follow the steps in section 4.2 in kit guide. What application in iOS or Android is used? Can you check with the alternative application? The issue could be due to temperature and humidity sensor not working or some type of communication issue. Also ensure the output of the Buck converter (MB39C811) is at stable voltage.
Thanks,
Yuva.
