Hi all!

Anybody knows if it is possible to enable Monitor mode on Raspberry Pi B Plus with Cypress CYW43455 WiFi NIC? It works well capturing 802.11 PHY and MAC headers?

Thanks a lot!

There is no limitation on the CYW43455 firmware side to be able to enter monitor mode.

If you are able to see the 802.11 frames, that means your device is able to successfully enter monitor mode.

Ok, thanks I understand but I haven't one Rasp B+ to see if I could see 802.11 frames and switch to monitor mode. I want to know to make the decision on buying.

Do you know if it is possible with this new model with CYW43455?

Not all WiFi NICs can be switched to monitor mode. I'm asking for someone who have already tested this posibility.

Thanks again.
