Hi all,
I use cy8cmbr3110 in my project. It must operate in dry and moist environments and in some cases with water in the electrodes. in this case, is it reliable to use the raw count parameter to read the electrodes? The raw count vary in different environments?

The scanning's raw-counts reflect Cx changing between the sensor and GND.
Theoretically, as long as the capacitance value between the sensor and GND changes, rawcount can vary it out. The problem is SNR.
Suggest to do some experiments to watch the rawcounts' changing traces and characteristic in your application, then decide if it can work.
Thanks,
Ryan
