Hello, I wanted to ask the community members if they had any experience using the CYC68013A EZ-USB FX2LP USB Microcontroller to program the PSoc5? I was looking over the schematics for the PSoc5 Development kit and they use this device to connect to a mini-USB connector which you can then program the PSoc5. I want to know if this is a straight forward approach to program the PSoc5 and if there were any problems using this USB microcontroller?

Please share any comments you may have.

Thanks,

Joe

As I recollect, the FreeSoC board used FX2 chip. You can find FreeSoc schematic and board layout here

freeSoC and freeSoC Mini by Jon Moeller — Kickstarter

I would also check a FreeSoC2 schematics

I was further looking at the Psoc 5 Dev Kit schematics and I noticed U3 which is a EEPROM, I'm starting to think that this is custom code from Cypress and if that is true then this changes everything.
