Untrusted Certificate EAP-TLS Error 5035

During the TLS Handshaking sequence while trying to make an Enterprise Security connection using EAP-TLS, after the server-hello done completes we fail with an Untrusted Certificate EAP-TLS Error 5035.  With a different certificate on a different server it works fine.  What are the possible causes of this error?

The error 5035 indicates that the client does not trust the certificate issued by the server during the TLS handshake. Ensure that the server certificate is issued by the root CA installed on both client and server.
