I just opened up a new reel of FM16W08 and the dye revision letter has changed from "A" to "B" sometime during the first quarter of 2017. Has anything changed with this part? The datasheet has not been updated since 2015.
I am asking because the dip28 version of FM1608 did evolve over time and date codes older than about 2005 has power reset issues in certain devices I was using them in. If someone was naughty with the line cord power switch toggling fast, they could scramble a FM1608 older then about 2005.
I retrofit FM16W08 in old equipment that used SRAM + batteries.
