We are discussing the possibillity of realize a stereo camera which output 720p in 30fps for each sensor, using CX3 or FX3 chip in USB2.0 High Speed. We haven't decided a image sensor yet.
Here is another question:
Can CX3/FX3 merge two 1280*720 image into one 2560*720? Or Cypress has other solution?

1) FX3/CX3 cannot merge two images coming from two different image sensors.
2) However, if both the cameras are in sync, you can use the upper 16 bits for one image sensor and the lower 16 bits of the GPIF interface for the other image sensor with common FV & LV signals for the FX3 based design.
3) The bandwidth requirement based on your requested resolution exceeds the USB 2.0 bandwidth. So, it may not be feasible.
