Hello, We have designed a hub based on the CYUSB3314 chip. The hub has failed USB compliance testing because the bcdUSB string returns 3.00 instead of 3.10.  I see no way to change that in the configuration EEPROM. Does that mean this chip is now non-compliant for USB 3.1 Gen 1 certification? The USB.org has stopped the use of the USB 3.0 name and only uses USB 3.1 Gen 1 as the official designation.  Could this be remedied in an HX3 firmware update?

regards,

Matt Knapp

Hi Matt Knapp,

Please use the latest firmware version B7 to avoid the above said issue.

Please use external EEPROM to load the firmware and configuration settings with the help of BlasterPlus Utility.

Regards,

Anil
