Graphic LCD Controller (GraphicLCDCtrl) for PSoC6

Hi,

I would like to use the M4 of the PSoC 6 to drive a TFT LCD Screen up to 7".

I saw that the PSoC 6 provides similar functionality of PSoC 3 and PSoC 5LP graphical interfaces, so I  read the Datasheet of the

"Graphic LCD Controller (GraphicLCDCtrl)" component.

I´m wondering why the maximum supported resolution is 480x320 pixel, because the supported SRAM for the framebuffer is big enough to drive a 800x480 pixel LCD. 

Does anyone know why the resolution is limited to 480x320 or has experience with a PSoC and a bigger Screen size?

Hi Markus,

We'll release a Component for PSoC 6 in the second half of this year. It will support at least 1024x1024 pixels.
