Is S25FL064L exactly compatible with S25FL064P?

Please confirm if same programmer can program data to L device without any modification. The programmer used to support P device.

Hello Robin,

The same programmer can be used to program L device also. But you need some modifications. The same settings might not work since there are some register changes from FL-P to FL-L.

Please refer the Migration application note from FL064P to FL064L from the link given below :

Thanks! The doc is helpful. I'll try it. If the programmer can ignore ID check, it will work without problem I think.
