Hello,

my CY5677 is somehow  not going to Advertise itself as BLE Dongle but as "CMSIS-DAP Version 1.0" (according to PSoC Programmer).

My guess is that the PSoC 5LB (not the PRoC) has the wrong firmware on it. Do you have:

a) the hexfile for the CY8C5868LTI-LP039 @ the CY5677 Dongle available for download?

b) a reprogramming procedure for that very chip?

Best, Nick

There should be some documentatio/install files under the PSoC Creator install directory related to the CY5677 if you installed the CY5677 dongle kit through the PSoC creator.

The file location would be similar to this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\CY5672 PRoC BLE RC RDK\1.0\Firmware\

Did you see a mass storage device on your PC as well as a CMSIS-DAP?  If so, the KitProg software on the PSoC 5LP is in the "Mass Storage" mode.  Please refer following thread.

Kitprog stops working after firmware update (CY8CKIT-059)
