Hi,
To make our design simple we tied both Vio and Vcc input voltages together to 3.3V. But from the datasheet (http://www.cypress.com/file/202426/download ) in page number 58, mentioned that “Vio input voltage always must be lower than Vcc input voltage”.Please share us how this issue affects the operation of flash memory if both Vio and Vcc tied together to same voltage.
Your suggestion will greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
By this statement, it was meant that VIO should always be less or equal to VCC.
So VCC and VIO can be tied together to the same voltage level with no problem.
Best regards,
