Hi,
I'm developing a linear slider on the CY8C4125LQI-483 with a driven shield. Just wondering if there is a maximum limit on the capacitance of the shield electrode before it stops being effective.
Thanks,
Tony

Hello,
We recommend to add a Shield tank capacitor if the shield capacitance crosses 100pf.
But we don't have an exact maximum value on the shield capacitance, having said that a value of 1nF should be good enough for the max shield capacitance.
Also please note to add shield electrode across sensor for a max distance of 1cm.
Thanks,
Ranjith
