I have been trying to install Wiced Studio 5.0. The SDK files were not present even after multiple installations and I had to put them in manually. However, the make targets still do not appear. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

SDK installation will work out of box, I'm surprised that it is not working for you after multiple installation. What exact error you are getting while installation?
