I'm using a CX3 to drive an OV5640. What is the highest resolution that I can receive over USB 2.0? The frame rate doesn't matter - it can be very slow. Is it possible to get the maximum 2592x1944 resolution at a very low frame rate? I'm able to decode at 640x480 successfully, but not the higher resolution. What is the highest resolution possible over USB 2.0?
Thanks...

Hi!,
The maximum bandwidth that can be achieved in USB 2.0 is around 35-40MBps.
We have tested the following resolutions in USB 2.0 mode on Ascella - Cypress® CX3™ THine® ISP 13MP reference design kit (RDK) | Cypress Semiconductor :
1)13MP (4160x3120) @ 1fps YUV422
2)13MP (4160x3120) @ 6fps MJPEG
Please note that this is USB Host Controller dependent.
