Forum,

Two days ago I downloaded PSoC 4.1. When I created new header files and tried to link in new libraries, the IDE was never able to find the files during build.

I never had this problem with the IDE before this.

All the header files per 4.0 work as expected. I, however, have not been about to add any new files or libraries. I have used New Build several time--same errors.

Have you tried these steps-

Add a User Dependency

A User Dependency is used in a specific project.

1. Open or create a design project open in PSoC Creator.

2. Select Project > Dependencies.

3.Add that Library project .

Please go through page "7.7 Add Dependency" at page#107 of  "Component Author Guide" available in PSoC Creator Help section

Yes,

I a nightmare to get it to work with external libraries.

I tried using the build option and specified directories and files—didn’t work.

Tried to drag and drop files into the directory—didn’t work.

The only things that worked was creating new files and cutting and pasting content into the newly created file.

Your system is very, very, very awkward to use with external libraries.
