When to expect PSoC ES3 samples

When can we expect ES3 samples to be available to try out?

This is the info which i get from Cypress sales representantive:

   

>> CY8C3866LTI-068ES3, will be the final silicon, but will not contain "ES3". 
>> If the customer require FULL qual/Production device it's scheduled to be available Oct.

   

So the interesting thing is that it wont contain ES3 in name and they suppose to be available month ago... - i have already asked what about them but it's still not available;/

Yes. PSoC3 ES3 samples are available for purchase now. Type CY8C8666 in the Part Number search and you can see ES3 samples available to be added to the Cart.

I need some CY8C3866LTI-030ES3 parts to finalise my design.

   

Are any PSoC5 parts sampling yet?

   

I will settle for any PSoC3 or PSoC5 parts if they have the 20bit S/D ADC.

   

Prefer the 68pin parts as they are pin for pin between the PSoC3 and PSoC5

   

100 pin parts are a bit big for this design.

We are still sampling ES3, but the initial demand was so high, we had to take it out of the online store so that we could ration parts and make sure everyone that needs them can get them.

       

I recommend contacting your local sales representative (or distributor).  They can place a sample request on the Cypress backlog.  We hope to have the parts back in the online store in the near future.
