Hello,
I have a serious problem with PSoC Creator. When I am trying to open a existed project or create a new one, the PSoC Creator takes too many time to open the text files (*.c & *.h). For example PSoC did take 20 mins to open 3 text files?
I did install / unistall but the problem is still there
Any suggestion?
PS Only one time PSoC gave me the error message described on attached PSF file
Thanks

Having a workspace with 20 projects is a bit uncommon, I would suggest you to reduce that.
A project that was opened with Creator cannot be opened again using a lower Creator version!
I strongly suggest you to use Creator 4.0 there have lots of improvements made and a few errors corrected.
Keep your programming equipment updated too. Use latest programmer version to update the firmware of kitprog or miniprog3.

I would suggest you to get in contact with Cypress directly: At top of this page select "Design support -> Create a Support Case" and ask your question again. You will be helped by a Cypress engineer.

Hello ,
Please check the .NET framework version on your system. You need .NET 4.0 or later.

You can use Microsoft .net recovery tool and reset the .net versions installed

Hello:
I give me the error message described on attached PSF file, too.
I am running Windows XP.
What can I do?
I can compile, but I can not debugger.
Creator 3.3 -> no work
But Programmer 3.24.2 OK. It's OK only Programmer.
PD: before Creator 3.3 was working OK, suddenly, it is not working
Thanks.

Hello, again.
Sorry. This is the error.
One project was working, and then the same project is not working.
I uninstalled Creator 3.3 and I installed again, but it is the same: it is not working.
It seems MiniProg3 is not detected by Creator because there are empty windows ("Select debug target"). Device Manager (XP) is detecting, and Programmer 3.24.2 is detecting and it is ok.
Thanks.

I would suggest you to upgrade to Creator 4.0, which will co-exist with your version 3.3. I assume that the more modern versions of PSoC Programmer do not work together with the 3.3. Afaik Creator 4.0 is not qualified for Windows XP.

32 bit operating system.
If I was working ok with Creator 3.3 and Programmer 3.24.2, and all of projects were debugging. All ok.
Now, that same project is not working with Creator 3.3. But Programmer 3.24.2 is ok.
I have tried to work with Creator 2.2 (I installed it several years ago), the error also appears.
When the error appears, down left in the screen: "Selecting target"
It seems that Creator is not detecting miniprog3. I am sure miniprog 3 is ok.
Menu Tools -> Options -> Port Configuration -> Error2 attachmented (file Error2.doc)
Thanks for your time
