Hello everybody,
I have tried to run the SCB SPI component without a SS line and do not get
a communication or an unstable communication. Is it possible somehow to run
the SPI component as only one slave without the SS line?
With an UDB Slave it works better but not really stable as well.
Thanks and best regards
Andreas

What are you connecting the PSoC to? Link to datasheet? SPI is an interface that requires an ss line, so you would need to create your own interface component which is doable, but not easy.

Hi Bob,
thanks, thats what I guessed as well and what I was already telling the colleagues
who designed the master without a ss line... 😉
I was hoping that there is some way to achieve it without creating my own component...

As Bob said, you can handle SS via a control register. So you don't need your own component, but can solve it in software.
