Hi to everyone and thanks in advance for your help,
I'm creating an hardware FPGA design which use a FX2LP USB chip. I'm considering floating (not connecting to anything) the CLKOUT pin from my CY7C68013A-100AXI FX2LP, since I only use the bidirectional IFCLK pin (my custom firmware set CPUCS.1 = 1, setting this pin as three-state).
Since I'm a beginner, do you think there may be any problem I'm not considering, doing this operation? CLKOUT may be useful for something I don't know?
Thanks,
A.

Hi,
You can safely float the CLKOUT pin. Youcan even disable the Clock output by writing into the CPUCS register.
