I was looking at a CY7C68013A in a 56 pin package. It is described as having a UART. When I look at the RXD0 and TXD0 pins they are only assigned on the 100 and 128 pin packages. Does the CY7C68013A in a 56 pin package have a UART? Can it be assigned to normal I/O pins?

The 56 pin package does not have UART. The page 55 / 67 of the datasheet in the link http://www.cypress.com/?docID=27092 has this information
