I have a simple query i.e can we add external memory to this device as we can in 8051...

Yes. PSoC3 supports external memory. But at this moment, there is no component that supports this feature. The External Memory Interface component can be expected at the end of 2010.

Yes. PSoC1 does not have any provision for external memory interface. If at all you want to use external data memory, you have to simulate the data and address lines using GPIO
