IDD Typical ?

Why don't you provide IDD Typical for various operating frequencies ?

   

Power is very critical and I would like to know the typical operating current of your components

   

Is there an Application note that can help with this?

Hi Bits,

       

Cypress does not specify the typical values of the Idd as there is a distribution associated with the same. However, we focus on the worst case situation (Idd max) so that we can guarantee Idd (MAX) values.

       

We have an Application Note 4017(http://www.cypress.com/?rID=12896), which describes the Power dissipation and Junction Temperature calculation of SRAM products. To compute the same, we have a tool which enables calculation of the Idd (MAX) current for desired frequency, total Power consumption and Junction temperature for Sync SRAMs.(http://www.cypress.com/?id=4&rID=40611).
