PSoC Designer 5.2 registration fails

After updating / installing PSoC Designer 5.2 the registration cannot be executed. A red exclamation mark appears beside the (valid!) email address and the text says "Unable to connect network. Please register later." Of course my internet connection is working.

   

2 PCs, one running Vista, the other Win7

   

On both machines 5.1 was running before, but was de-installed before the update.

   

Shall I file a thech-case for this?

Hi Bob,

   

yes, please file a support case for this. I will also alert the owners of the Designer program package.

   

Strange that this is happening with Creator and Designer more frequently the last couple weeks. I will check with the installer team if there have been any recent changes that might cause this behavior.

My 2 cents: Server down (for several hours), Service on server not installed / not running, Servername misspelled in registration.
