Hi

Sorry, my english is not well, but I will try to let you know my question.

Please kindly resolve my question or provide me some implications

Thank you very much.

I took a FPGA to connect CY7C68013A and then work in the Slave-FIFO mode.

I could successfully work on my PC of High-Speed support.

But today, I would like to connect older PC, whose only support USB1.1 or USB2.0 Full-Speed.

I could not link it by my device.

My PC and older PC were installed WinXP.

I do not know how to resolve this issue, could you please kindly provide me some solutions for me information

Thank you!!

 Hello,

When you are connecting to the older PC, what is happening?  Like, is it appearing in the device manager, but not able to talk to the device? Or is it not enumerating only? Can you please describe the behaviour shown when connected to old PC.

Thank you for your reply.

My situation that was not found my device from device manager in WinXP.

It only displayed "undefinition device" on my device manager.

but if I connect USB2.0 high-speed, I would not meet this issue.

Have you any idea to help me? Thank you

 hello,

I believe it is showing up as "unkown device" in device manager. Can you check the VID/PID in the device manager under properties -> Details? Is it the same as the expected one (i.e, the one specified in the firmware) ?

Did you bind properly to CyUSB.sys, using the correct inf file ?

Please also try connecting some other standard USB devices into the PC, just in case, to isolate if it is an issue of OS. I have seen improper OS installations (improper host controllers)  leading to such issues. Please double check.

Sorry, we just meet lunar new year in Taiwan.

Please refer this picture, our situation is in it.

While we plug into old PC, our VID and PID would be searched "0x0000"

But other PC will not meet this issue.

At first, I assume our old PC have not support High-Speed.

But its systems is not too old

Our old PC specification is P4-3G, 1G-DDR RAM, Win XP SP3

Moreover, other USB2.0 Device can be used on it.

Please help us to resolve this issue

Thank you

 Hi,

That means the device is not even enumerating properly. It is most probably a hardware issue. Please go through the schematic review checklist, that should help. Please look at       the schematic review checklist.
