Hi,

I'm developed a board based on CY8C5588AXI-060, the same used in the PSoC5 evaluation board, but I can't find it.

the cypress website lists the PSoC5 devices but seems that this device is no longer present.

Is the CY8C5588AXI-060 not yet available?

Is the CY8C5568AXI-060 pin-to-pin compatible with the CY8C5588AXI-060 ?

Best regards

Hi PDES,

CY8C5568AXI-060 is pin-to-pin compatible with CY8C5588AXI-060. You can go ahead by using this device (CY8C5568AXI-060).

But remember that the CY8C5568 is not completely functional equivalent with the CY8C5588-ES2. For example, with the move to production silicon (and to Creator 2.0), the CAN component has been removed, and the ADC sample rate has been lowered. So look into the Creator 2.0 release notes for all changes which might affect you.

There is a CAN-module back in Designer 2.0, but I cannot tell if it is what you expect.

Hi all,

thanks for suggestions.

I don't use CAN or ADC peripherals but I'm mainly interested in the UDB resources and the pin-to-pin compatibility.

Are these parameters guaranteed?

Can I consider the speed grade the only main difference in terms of hardware resources between CY8C5588AXI-060 and CY8C5568AXI-060?

Thanks in advance
