Regarding the Encryption code in WICED, do you have an existing CCATS number that we can
grandfather or do we need to apply independently, or is your code exempt from the U.S. EAR regulations?

To add some more details, the encryption code we have in our solution (modules and software) is in two parts:+ encryption code in 43362, which does WEP- and WPA/WPA2-related processing.+ encryption in the code that runs on STM32. We are using BRCM WPS implementation from the WICED library. For SSL/TLS, we are using a third-party software.

Please send an email to exportclassification@broadcom.com to obtain information about CCATS for the BCM43362 & WPS.Since you are using an independent SSL/TLS library, you do not need to mention the WICED SSL/TLS library.
