To use a few words more: The CAN component is back in Creator 2.1 EA. Download it and give it a try.

I got reply from Cypress:

   

                   

   

unfortunately the CAN component was made obsolete for our current version of PSoC 5 devices that are available and so the software just reflects the limitation of the device currently.  The PSoC 3 devices do have CAN support currently and we are working on making this available in PSoC 5 devices in the near future.
