I am trying to develop an input for an optical encoder. I saw an old AN51685. But it was incomplete. Any suggestions?

Hi Philip,
in PSoC 3 and 5 there is a Quadratur Detector component which will work as you expect. For a PSoC 1 you'll have to write your own solution.

I will use the PSOC 3 or 5. The PSOC 1 would not require a board layout.
Thank you all for the responses.
