Hi everybody,
On the schematic for the CY8C55 Family Processor module, the Pin 11 of the CY8C5568AXI-060 chip is connected over a resistance (R38 = 0Ohm) to the inductor (L1) and the diode (D1). But according to the datasheet of the chip, pin 11 should left unconnected. So i have three questions:
1) Why is pin 11 used even the datasheet mention to not use.
2) What is this boost converter good for? To regulate the voltage coming from the battery?
Thanks a lot!
Chrigu

Boost converter is shown as "obsolete" in 2.1, and datasheet also confirms it
is not supported for PSOC 5.

Chrigu ,
PSoC5 TM (currently available PSoC5 in Production) does not support Boost convertor. I think it will be supported by PSoC5 LP which might come by the end of this Qtr.
