Hi,
I'd like to connect a port pin and pass it's state to a datapath register(d0 or d1) and do alu. Can anybody tell me how can I wire a port pin to a datapath register? Thank You.

I'd suggest to define it like a usual input to the datapath and connect it on the schematic to an input-pin.

Still how would I associate it to the DP register?
I am looking at http://www.cypress.com/?app=forum&id=2492&rID=68132 which is very similar to what I want to do. I still do not understand how to source the PI . For instance, how to write in verilog file that Port A.0 ('data' on the cysym) is the source to PI or Accumulator.

Hi, Are you connecting one pin or a full 8 bit port?
