Generally speaking, the boot process of any device is often ignored or given less attention to, as this doesn't impact or assumed to have no impact on the user program (main.c). To some extent this is true, but not completely. Some applications may require understanding the boot process of the device to get information like boot time, calibration of clocks, references, RAM initialization etc.
Application note AN73617 - PSoC 1 Boot process from reset to main.c, talks about this in detail. It can be accessed from below link-
