Question: Can a crystal be used instead of a ceramic resonator?
Answer:
The CY7C63X0XA, CY7C6361X, and the CY7C63X1X all require a 6MHz ceramic resonator. A crystal can not be used because it has a longer start up time and will introduce uncertain behavior.
