Question: How long does dynamic reconfiguration take?
Answer:
The timing depends on the amount of reconfiguration required. Reconfiguration of a single digital PSoC block can be accomplished with as few as three MOV instructions (each MOV takes 8 CPU clock cycles). Reconfiguring all PSoC blocks requires up to 256 instructions. Changes to system clocks, port pins, multiplexers and interrupt routines may also be required.
