Question: Is it possible to use old component versions that have been deprecated, like Analog Port / Digital Port in new version of PSoC Creator?
Answer: Yes it is possible to use the old version of components like Port Pins in your projects. To activate the old components in the PSoC Creator design, go to Tools >> Options menu and under the "Design Entry >> Component Catalogue" section, enable the "Show Hidden Components" option. A new section called "Deprecated" will appear in the Components catalogue and this section will have all the old deprecated components.
But we strongly recommend the Customers not to use either older version of components as well as Deprecated components as they may have some bugs in it.
