Can 125us interrupt be generated in the CY7C64013 or CY7C64113?

Question: Using CY7C64013 or CY7C64113, how can I create a 125us interrupt?

Answer:

It is not possible to create a 125us interrupt. We do have the 128us interrupt and 1.024ms interrupt that can be enabled by setting the corresponding bit in the Global Interrupt Enable register. Once enabled, the processor will get an interrupt every 128us or 1.024ms, and the hardware will automatically jump to the 128us or 1.024ms interrupt in the interrupt vector.
