When code compiled with the ByteCraft C compiler is loaded into CYDB not all of the debugging features are functional

Question: When code compiled with the ByteCraft C compiler is loaded into CYDB, not all of the debugging features such as  breakpoints and single stepping are functional.

 

Answer:

The ByteCraft C compiler requires that the following line be in the C code.

#pragma option INSTRUCTIONTIMING +k

This line is required for a complete listing file to be generated which enables all of CYDB's debugging features.
