Question: Can SPI be used with GPIF II 32 bit in FX3?
Answer:
As the GPIF pins are multiplexed with SPI pins,it is not possible to use 32 bit GPIF II with SPI.This is an architectural limitation. So if you want to use SPI,GPIF II should be used in 16 bit mode.Else software SPI should be used. For more information on the supported combination of hardware in FX3,please refer to FX3 datasheet.
