Question:
How to configure the BLE device to act as both observer and broadcaster?
Answer:
When configuring the BLE Component in PSoC® Creator™, select the GAP Role as “Peripheral and Central”. This allows the BLE device to perform the roles of both a Central and a Peripheral.
If the Scan timeout is set to a value lesser than the Advertisement timeout, scanning is done first in the firmware; otherwise, advertisement is done first. If no timeout is specified, then scanning and advertisement can be done in any order.
